Question 1. I would most definitely recommend this book for numerous reasons. first off before this book i didn't think that novels and books could have action that will drag you into it but this book showed me they could. if you liked the films then i would definitely recommend reading this, its better than the films! this book is based on Jason Bourne finding out who he really is when the CIA takes over his life when he agreed to sign up for something he didn't know what he was getting himself into. He runs into an assassin when Jason is forced to chase him to only run out of ammunition to let him get away. i won't ruin the plot or the ending because you should hopefully read it!
Question 4. If this book was made into a film (which it has been) then the opening scene when he is in the water would be exactly the same, although seeing the film before reading it i imagined the opening scene exactly how it is in the film. Jason Bourne would be in the water struggling for his life when he is rescued by a fishing boat, he then starts his life and fight against amnesia from then on.
